I used to not only fear, but HATE switchbacks. After 1 month of buildSOLO I not only made it around 1 of my switchback nemeses, but all 5 on a single trail!!

At that moment, all my fear, anxiety, and most importantly, hatred I had felt towards switchbacks melted off me, and it all turned to gratitude - gratitude towards Bekah, towards myself, and towards this trail for pushing me to get better. The feeling was magical!
